ORI Voice Programme — help ORI understand you · €8 reward
ORI recognises speech on the device, without the cloud. To understand children and grandparents in a real living room (not a studio), it needs to hear real voices — different ages, tempos and accents. That is exactly what you can help with.
What the voices are used for: solely for training the software of ORI Kids and ORI Home/Senior. The recordings are never published or shared — they are training data only, not part of the product.
€8 for a complete package
For a complete voice package we transfer €8 to your IBAN account: 1. Register: email nahravky@oribuddy.com (subject "Registration"). You will receive a registration form — basic details (name, email, IBAN), speaker details (gender, age, region) and the consent to voice processing for the training purposes of ORI Kids and ORI Home/Senior to sign. 2. Record the phrases below and send them to the same address. 3. We check completeness within 14 days → €8 to your account. If something is missing, we let you know and you can add it.
Conditions: 1 package = 1 speaker; max. 4 packages per household; for children a parent/legal guardian registers and receives the payment; own voices only (no third-party, synthetic or duplicate recordings); the number of paid packages is limited by the current programme capacity (shown on this page). A complete package = every phrase of the lists below at least once, plus the background/everyday-speech section; children's emotion sounds are always voluntary and never required.
Active collection currently runs in Slovak (families with children — guide) and Austrian German (older adults — guide). English recordings are welcome for future markets — the phrase lists are below.
General rules
- One phrase = one short clip (1–2 seconds; older adults 1–3 seconds), with a 2-second pause between phrases.
- Speak naturally — the way you speak at home, not "into a microphone". Everyday background noise is welcome.
- Never record names, addresses, schools or health information. Start the recording with only: "Gender: … Age: … Language: English. Region: …"
- Formats: m4a, mp3, wav, ogg. Send clips to nahravky@oribuddy.com.
- Please read the consent page first.
