Consent and privacy — ORI Voice Programme

What we use the recordings for

Exclusively for training the speech-recognition software of the ORI Kids and ORI Home/Senior products (models that run on the device itself). The recordings: - are never published or distributed — they are training data only, not part of the product, - are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing, - are not used to identify people or for any other purpose, - are stored securely in the EU, only for as long as development requires.

What we collect

voice clips with the phrases from the guide,
basic speaker data: gender, age, language, region (no names, addresses or diagnoses),
registration data for the reward payment: name, email and IBAN of the registering adult (processed solely to send the reward and keep the required records; legal basis: performance of the agreement).

Reward

For a complete voice package (criteria on the programme pages) we transfer €8 to the registered IBAN account after checking completeness, within 14 days of receipt.
1 package = 1 speaker; max. 4 packages per household; for children the parent/legal guardian registers and receives the payment.
No reward is due for incomplete packages (you may add the missing parts), third-party or synthetic voices, duplicates, or once the programme capacity is reached.

Legal basis and duration

Submitting a voice package for a reward is an agreement: the recordings become training material of S.P.M. e.U. for the agreed purpose (training the ORI Kids and ORI Home/Senior software). The legal basis is the performance of this agreement, not a freely withdrawable consent.
Raw recordings are stored securely for the development period (at most [X years — to be set by the lawyer]) and deleted afterwards.
How the software is made: during training your voice is merged with dozens of other voices into one recognition model. The finished model does not contain your recordings and your voice cannot be recovered from it — it is anonymous.
Early termination: if you wish to withdraw your recordings earlier, the agreement can be ended by returning the €8 reward — the stored raw recordings are then deleted without delay and not used for further training. Software already trained remains unaffected (your voice is neither contained in it nor identifiable from it).
Recordings submitted voluntarily without a reward are deleted free of charge on request at any time.

Please do not record any personal data — no names, addresses, schools or health information.

Participation is entirely voluntary and unpaid.
For children, consent is given by a parent or legal guardian; children take part only if they want to.
For adults with limited legal capacity, the legal representative consents and the person's own wishes are respected.
By sending recordings to nahravky@oribuddy.com you confirm that you have read this text and consent. (The final form — a signable consent form — will follow after legal review.)

You may at any time request access to your data and recordings and correction of your registration data — by email to nahravky@oribuddy.com. Deletion of recordings follows the "Legal basis and duration" section above (automatic after the development period; earlier by terminating the agreement). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Transparency

ORI is a device with artificial intelligence. Speech recognition runs on the device; ORI products do not stream continuous audio to the cloud. More at oribuddy.com.
